Five O'Clock Dash
It's five o'clock on a Friday. Jump the desks, duck the ducts, dodge every manager who's "got a minute", and trip whoever's between you and the door.
How to play Five O'Clock Dash
It is five o'clock on a Friday, and everybody is racing for the door. Five O'Clock Dash is a side-scrolling race out of the office: you run on your own, and all you have to do is jump, duck, and get past everything the office throws at you. First out of the door wins.
- Run. Everybody runs right at the same pace, on the same course, from their desk to the lobby.
- Jump the desks and duck the ducts. Run into a desk and you stop; run upright into a duct and you go down.
- Dodge the managers. They walk at you because they have "got a minute". They cannot reach above their heads, so get up on the furniture. Caught? Mash jump to get away.
- Get out first. Nobody is ever eliminated; it is a race to the door.
Dirty tricks
- Sprint for a short burst of pace.
- Slide under a manager's grasp. You are slower getting up.
- Trip whoever is running next to you. Somebody in the air cannot be tripped, so jumping is the dodge.
- Throw a paper ball to flatten whoever is ahead, or knock down a manager. Duck or jump to dodge one.
- Each one recharges after use; the ring under the board shows when it is ready.

Why it works for teams
A race is over in under a minute, so it is the quickest game on the site: two to four of you, a few rounds before the end of the day, and somebody gets to leave first. Play the computer if the rest of the office has already gone home.
